Spiritual Warfare is real. The greater your calling the more intense the battle.

The scriptures tell us in Epheisans 6:12 "For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms."

It is easy to get yourself upset by what our eyes can see or what our ears hear. But we need to take heed that there are forces outside of ourselves at play. And that there are myriads of angels surrounding us at any given time when we abide in our Lord. Abiding is to believe, trust, savor, rest and recieve. When we abide in Jesus, remaining in fellowship with him and the Holy Spirit we are protected. Jesus Himself is Immanuel, God with us. Angels are sent by God to deliver us from our troubles. "The Angel of the LORD encamps all around those who fear Him, and delivers them." (Psalm 34:7)

In order to combat these Spiritual Attacks we must:

Put on the Full Armor of God

Submit to God and Resist the Devil

Stay Rooted in Prayer

Use Scripture as Your Weapon

Guard Your Mind and Heart

Rely on God's Strength and NOT on your own understanding

I know it is easier said then done, but remember that He is the Alpha and The Omega
He knows the end from the beginning. It is done! We just need to walk in it. Stand on TRUTH. Trust the WORD of God. Jesus is the WORD of GOD, He is the TRUTH. Take him at his word and deed. He died for you. The ultimate sacrifice attoning for all of our sins. We just need to BELIEVE. Believing is difficult, especially if we don't feel worthy, that we don't deserve or that we even matter.

But I am here to testify that He does see you, you do matter, you are deserving and you are worthy because you are HIS. Your breath is proof, you are not of your own. Trust that he has a plan and purpose for your life. He loves you and cares for you.

We were not meant to do this life on our own. It says in the scriptures that you are fully equipped for every good work. It also states that He knows the plans he has for you. He is the creator of the universe. He has you in the palm of his hand.

God will protect you at all costs. He will provide the people and the provision. He is the way maker and the promise keeper. He loves you so much!

The enemy wants to plant doubt in your heart and feelings of unworthiness. DO NOT ALLOW him to win! You have an inheritence. You were promised a land flowing with Milk and Honey. Your ancesestors trusted in the promises and now they are yours for the taking. Ofcourse it will not come easily, and not without a fight.

I'm in the middle of the storm. This battle is the most difficult one I have ever had to face and at times I don't see a way out. Like now.

On Thursday last week I recieved some news that shook my core. It literally took the breath out of me. I had an anxiety/ panic attack. I can usually talk to myself when I feel overwhelmed.

I'll have a thought pop up, "what are you going to do?!" "I'm going to trust Jesus" is how I usually respond. But that particular day - too much came at me at one time and I could not respond fast enough. Instead, I asked myself the question over and over and over and over again, "what are you going to do?" "what are you going to do?" "WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?"

I became flushed, my heart began to race and pound out of my check. I was covered in heat from head to toe and began sweating profusely. I could not see straight. I tried to make my way to the check out, I was in SPROUTS when I read the email. The cashier noticed I was not well. She asked if I was okay. All I could do is shake my head. Immediately she came from behind the register and asked if I needed a hug. Holding open her arms. I hugged her so hard. I was hanging on to her for dear life. I NEEDED that SO badly.

I could not stop crying. In between cries, I mustered up a few words and she made sense of what I was trying to tell her and shared that she too was going thru some similiar stuff. We prayed together, "no weapon formed against us shall prosper". We declared that HE is who HE says HE is. Our deliverer. Our redeemer. And we will have a testimony to share, that all will KNOW that God exists for what he's about to do for me.

Because the only way out of this mess I'm in is through a miracle and YOU LORD Jesus our our miracle worker.

"for you are great and do wondrous things, you alone are God." (Psalms 86:10)
